LG Screens Become a Canvas for Local Talent in Iraq

BAGHDAD, IRAQ — LG, a multinational electronics company, hosted a week-long digital photo exhibition from June 22 to June 29 in seven of its brand shops across Baghdad. The exhibition featured the work of local photographers, displayed on LG's screens, showcasing the rich culture and heritage of Iraq.

The event, a fusion of technology and art, aimed to promote local talents while demonstrating the capabilities of LG's LCD Standard Signage screens. The screens, known for their IPS panel technology, and full HD resolution (1920 x 1080), provided a viewing experience for the attendees. The photographs exhibited on the LG screens during the event provided a vivid portrayal of Iraq's cultural richness and diversity. They spanned various themes, capturing the essence of Iraq's vibrant traditions, local communities, historic landmarks, and picturesque landscapes. From the ancient city of Babylon and its Hanging Gardens to the winding Tigris and Euphrates rivers; from the bustling markets of Baghdad to the majestic Erbil Citadel; and the stunning heritage sites of Hatra and Ashur - the exhibition was resembling a virtual tour to the audience, across Iraq's stunning vistas and its diverse cultural tapestry.

"Our LCD Standard Signage screens were the perfect medium to showcase these works. With their large size and high resolution, they brought out the intricacies of each photograph, allowing viewers to fully appreciate the skills of these local artists."

"I am truly grateful for the opportunity provided by LG," said Photographer Ahmed Kadhum" To see my work displayed on LG's screens, with its excellent display capabilities, was a unique experience. It did not only enhance the visual impact of my work but also allowed me to reach a broader audience."

Photographer Wadaa Abdulkarim echoed Ahmed's sentiments, "This exhibition has given us the exposure we could only dream of. The vibrant display of the LCD screens truly breathed life into our photos, making them even more engaging."

The event concluded on a successful note, with attendees commending LG for their support of local artists and for showcasing a side of Iraq that many were unaware of.
